Laine knows that the reflection in the mirror is her and not another baby. Her reflection makes her smile and laugh. When she sees one of our reflections in the mirror, she will turn around to look at us directly.
Laine knows how to initiate peek-a-boo on her own. Twice now she has picked up her burp rag with two hands and lifted it so that it blocked everything in her line-of-sight, then quickly threw her hands down and gave us a happy surprised look. She of course repeated this after we said, “Peek-a-boo!”
Laine is ticklish in her armpits. Being tickled there results in hysterical laughs. Or, “Would you quit it, already,” looks when she is otherwise occupied with her toys.
